(I'd rather just pay once for my overlay/alerts instead of renting them recurringly) I wasn't a fan of the store approach for some of the functionality, it was quite expensive for what it was and as a hobby streamer I just wasn't willing to fork out for it. I also was not a fan of their multi-stream addition this is something that is a free plugin for regular OBS. Streamlabs back when I used it was extremely slow when setting up scene nesting and the UI was very cluttered. OBS.live - StreamElements version of OBS doesn't require me to pay for anything, allows custom bot name and uses way less resources, has a nicer UI imo and has plugin support so it can integrate with many more applications. I've tried both and just prefer OBS/StreamElements setup. Thanks to /u/iTruthful and Conceptional for the art!
